My Top Three Favorite Korean Actresses

My top spot definitely goes to Song Hye Kyo. My love for all things Korean was because of Song Hye Kyo in Full House.

Next spot is for Son Ye Jin who's such a great actress especially in the movies The Classic and A Moment to Remember.

Third spot goes to Kim Tae Hee of A Love Story In Harvard. She's also not just a pretty face but an effective actress.

They're so pretty and they're making me jealous :) Seriously, I hope to see any of them in Seoul that's why I'm researching a lot on how to be able to get into KBS/SBS or whatever station just to have a glimpse of them. Do you know how? Please share!

Korean Actors in Military Service

Here's a list of some of my favorite Korean actors who are undergoing or have undergone military service:

Kim Rae Won. I liked his performance in A Love Story in Harvard and Gourmet.

Gong Yoo from the 1st Shop of Coffee Prince. I wanted to visit the cafe in Hongdae but I heard it's already closed :(

Jon In Sung from Memories of Bali. I heard he went out with Go Hyun Jung of Daemul and Queen Seondeok.
Hyun Bin!!! Mr. Dimples! :) I love Hyun Bin especially in Secret Garden and Kim Sam Soon.

Eric Mun, Mr. Funny Guy from Super Rookie. Eric is among my most favorite Korean actors.

Where to Stay in Seoul: 126 Mansion

I know that Seoul is still 6 months from now but I'm already preparing for our trip.

Part 1 is choosing the airline. Even if I don't like to travel via Cebu Pacific, I have to consider our limitations when it comes to our household travel budget. Hubby and I are going to put up a business, we still have some payables, Christmas shopping is looming in sight, we have a Hongkong trip in December, we have plans of going through a fertility work-up next year, we also have plans to go on a Caribbean cruise next year, plus my sister and nephew are comin' over in late 2012 so I'm assuming that we're goin' to cook up some Asian travel as well. All these considerations got me into settling with Cebu Pacific and I'm just hoping that the frequent delays in flights won't be too much of a distortion in the itinerary I'm going to make.

Part 2 is choosing the place to stay in Seoul. I am a hotel lover. Even in the United States where we got relatives who offered their couches to us, I still opted to book hotels. We stayed in hotels in New York, Washington DC, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. Asian trips are no exception. Choosing a good hotel is crucial for me because at the end of a tiring day, I need a cozy hotel to help me take the stress away.

I don't know why I have a different feeling when it comes to Seoul. For our trip this time, I'm not looking for hotels. I don't want to stay in the same old corporate chains. I want to experience the culture. I want to stay in a real Korean home.

And I'm glad I found 126 Mansion in AirBnB.
